From Diana Huseby “Tindall”...

Chris so very sorry for your loss. I was a class of 1977 mate. Witch means we were and will always be very close mates. Your Dad along with few other class mates 10 years ago when we were all turning 50 years old that year for most of us born 1958 and 1959. We at this time realized we we’re not getting to see each of us even though lots of us still lived here in Lawrence. So the day we lost a very dear friend just before she turned 50years old. Thatis when we all saw life can be cut short. So as a group of class mates of 1977 we made a once a month day to see our friend we loved and missed and started celebrating each months birthdays together. And we called it third Friday. This has happy to say has gone on for 10years now. And I thank God for helping us to keep this going.. it had also added other class mates now anyone from LHS it is open to. I am thankful for my time with my class and my friends. God keep third Friday going forever. Your dad was a wounderful man we all loved and will miss dearly God bless and prayers to all. I’ve known Terry for over 50 yrs, he had a kind soul & always brought a smile to my face. I wonder if he knew just how many people loved him. Rest In Peace old friend. ❤️

From Kayla Hedges...

I send my love to Jackie, Chris, and family members. Terry had many adopted kids and I was lucky to be one of them. He helped me cope with the loss of my father by inviting me on his boat, attending music gigs, and simply reminiscing about good times. He had a humble soul and he knew how to seek out the good in the people around him. And in the words of Stevie Ray Vaughn “No wasted time, we’re alive today/Churning up the past, there’s no easier way/
Time’s been between us, a means to an end/
God it’s good to be here walking together my friend/
We’re living our dreams
my mind’s stopped aching,’
That’s how it happened living life by the drop.”
