Pat and I grew up together in Uptown Harrisburg. He was a very good friend of mine. When were kids he would come to my house and we would play whiffle ball in the back of my house.
I will miss his yearly texts to me. Rest in peace my friend.

Pat, I will miss hearing your insights and opinions during lunches at LINK. Rest in peace, my friend.

From Clark...

He grew up in Harrisburg, PA. His significant visual impairment didn’t prevent him from participating fully in life. After graduating from Rockhurst College in Kansas City, he served as a VISTA volunteer in Holton, KS. He then completed the coursework for a master’s degree in religious studies at KU. Pat was active in the Kansas Natural Guard and was arrested attempting to blockage the reactor vessel being shipped in for the Wolf Creek Nuclear Plant in 1979. He enjoyed listening to baseball and basketball. During his second VISTA service work, he advocated for a public transportation system in Lawrence which became a reality in 2000.
