Drake Robert Bartlett, 56, died peacefully at his home in Lecompton, Kansas, on June 12, 2019.
He was born in San Jose, Costa Rica. He was the son of Robert and Odilie Bartlett. His childhood was spent in Nicaragua, then Tennessee, where he attended Christian Brothers High School. Soon after, he traveled to Ecuador to study aquaculture.
Drake became a shrimp farmer in various South American countries. Eventually, he moved to the United States and lived in both Florida and South Texas.
In 2014 he moved to Lecompton, Kansas, with Colleen Farrell. They enjoyed their goats, chickens, dogs and gardening.
Drake is survived by his brothers, Francisco and Felipe Bartlett, and his sister, Morgan Bartlett.
