Memorial services for Elizabeth Ruth Wilks, 75, Lawrence, will be 10:00a.m. Friday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wilks died July 27, 2019, at Baldwin Healthcare & Rehab in Baldwin City, Kansas. She was born November 20, 1943 in Jarbalo, Kansas, the daughter of Hubert Vincent and Elsie Elizabeth Whitstine.
Mrs. Wilks worked at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in the dietary department. She enjoyed coloring, crocheting, and spending time with her family.
She married Larry Wilks on August 15, 1981. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include a daughter, Ruth Ann McCann of Fayetteville, North Carolina; three sons, Alfred McCann of Lawrence, Bobby McCann of Lawrence, and Alvin McCann and wife Angela of Sommerville, Alabama; siblings, Pat Web, Howard Johnson, Gary L. Johnson, Everet Johnson, Johnny Johnson, Steven Johnson, Rosalie Johnson, and Narragon Johnson; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother Phillip Web.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Lung Association, sent in care of the funeral home.

I am thinking of your family during this difficult time. Mom was lucky to visit with your mom a few years ago. Both moms were doing good during the visit. I will always remember that visit.
