A visitation for Pamela Lynn Wallace, 58, Lawrence, will be 5-7 pm Friday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home & Crematory.
Ms. Wallace died Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at her home.
She was born June 18, 1961, in Lawrence, the daughter of Walter Robert “Bob” and Marguerite A. Goodwin Hellstrom. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1979.
Ms. Wallace worked as a SD card programmer at Garmin and threw newspapers for the Lawrence Journal World for over 20 years. She loved her dogs and going to dock dog competitions. She enjoyed cooking for large groups of people and attending her grandchildren’s activities.
She is survived by sons, Jeremy Wallace of Lawrence, Derick Wallace and wife Casey of Lawrence; daughter, Kendall Wallace of Lawrence; sister, Jane Hellstrom of Independence, MO; grandchildren, Jensen Wallace, Laney Wallace, Nicholas Wallace, Tatum Grammer, Dominic Parton, Alea Parton, Jeremy Christian Wallace, Blaze Wallace, and Paislee Wallace.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Lawrence Humane Society, sent in care of the funeral home.

My heart is saddened by the loss of my fellow classmate Pamela Hellstrom. That’s who she’ll always be to me!! We became the best of friends in 2nd grade and spent a lot of Elementary fun times together. My deepest sympathies go out to her family and loved ones ??❤ God Speed ?
I worked with Pam for almost 15 years and she always loved talking about her dogs and grandchildren. Often misunderstood, but always willing to listen and one of the least selfish people that I’m had the pleasure of being around.
May she be in a better place and her family find the strength and courage they need through this challenging time.

I was so sorry to hear about Pam passing, she and I went through a lot together when we were raising our kids, Kendall babysat my kids and Jeremy and Josh were close growing up, all of you were like my own! I love all of you and my prayers are with you, anything you need I’m here for all of you!!!
I always enjoyed Pam, like another mother. I’m sad at her passing but I know she’s in a better place. God bless the family.
