Messages & Condolences
Although Dane and I both attended DHS that is not where I got to know him. Our career interests were very similar and we ended up working together in a couple of organizations. He was one of the hardest working men that I encountered during my career. His word was absolutely trustworthy. His character and reputation were beyond reproach. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing. The world has lost a good man and I have lost a good friend.
I was a friend and classmate of David’s. I am so very sorry for your loss.
So sorry to hear about Dane’s passing! I only new Dane when he was a teenager in high school. He was always so kind and soft spoken and he was the same way when he attended our reunions.. just cherish the memories you have. Sincerely, Claudia
I just finally found you today Brenda. I am so sorry for this immense loss. I do not have your address or phone number. Keep you and your family
In my prayers.
Dane was my boss at my first Human Resource position. I remember Dane for his integrity and love for people. He was always so patient. He was also a great mentor. The heavens gained a great man.
Oh Brenda I had no idea Dane was ill. I am sorry for his passing. My prayers are certainly with you. Call me when you can talk at 405990-1464.
Steve and I are praying that the peace that passes all understanding comes on you, Brenda, and all of your family.
We were privileged to know Dane; thanks to you for that. Hold fast to the promise that you will be together again.
Brenda and family, our thoughts, love, and prayers are with each of you. We have been blessed to call Dane and his sweet family friends for many, many years. Praise God we will all see Dane again!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all, love and light.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Offutt family. We often speak of people who have physically died in the past tense. However, physical life is but part of our journey. Dane was (is still) an amazing man, friend, and neighbor. As a man of God, and I appreciated the constant example he set for my kids and myself. We are all the better off for the chance to get to know him. Dawn was especially excited when we moved in that there was a SoDak connection. I told her that Dane was the model I aspired to when I “grew up.” Like me, he was a life-long learner, and I sincerely appreciated the time and review he provided for my graduate papers as well as the neighborly advice and sharing of tools. He will be dearly missed.
It was my privilege to know Dane. A wonderful man. Brenda, God bless you and the rest of the family.
Dane made a difference in so many lives. I am so thankful to have had him as a boss for so many years he will be deeply missed by so many. Please know we are thinking of you and your family during this difficult time.
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Dane was a wonderful man whom I am proud to have called friend. I know you are a family pf strong faith and it is this faith that will see you through this trying time. I am sure that as Jesus welcomed Dane home he said “well done thou faithful servant”.
Dear Evan and family, my deepest sympathies for your loss. My prayers are with you during this time. Love you, Evan.
So sorry to hear about Dane! He was a great neighbor! Thoughts and Prayers to you and your family!

Your dad was a very special man. He will be greatly missed. Remembering him playing his trombone at church for services. Love and prayers to the family.
Dane was such a good man, and I am so happy I had the opportunity to know him. I worked for him at P.D.I.C., and that was the best, and my favorite job in my working days. He was the best boss ever! My heart goes out to all of you. May you find comfort in all your memories, and knowing that he is safe in the arms of our Lord. Fly high with the angels Dane Offutt!!
So many memories. Remembering the times he and others from the Drumright church traveled with the youth district team. Over night camp out with the Hazlip family. His blue car at Bethany
