She worked as a CNA at various nursing homes.
Terri, Kris and families. I was saddened to learn of your mother’s passing. Ms. Ethel soon became a wonderful friend and neighbor soon after she moved to Bethel Estates. She and my father had many conversations surrounding Abilene.
Hands down she was a true dear. Sitting on Charlotte’s porch became an evening event. One of my most memorable things is clearing our porches and walkway of snow in the freezing cold, the love of baseball, grandkids and an infectious laugh that I associated with her stories of life and her love of family and friends. Even after my dad’s passing and my moving Ethel remained a dear unforgettable friend. I will miss her dearly. My prayers are with you at this difficult time.

To Ethel’s family. I want you to know I enjoyed working with Ethel many years ago at Mid-America in Abilene. She was a bridesmaid at my wedding to Ed in 1982. He moved to heaven in 2007. I always loved Ethel as did most everyone who knew her. She always had a ready smile. I was so sorry to hear of your great loss with her passing. She will always be remembered and missed by me.
To Ethel‘s family I have so many cherished and wonderful memories of you and your mama whether it was working side-by-side spending holidays together talking on the phone or just plain old living life I just want you to know that I always loved her so she always found humor i when there wasn’t any and her smile and her laughter were contagious God bless you
