When I think of Nancy I see a smile and hear laughter. Best of friends for 43 years and all the memories that go with knowing someone that long. She and I walked hundreds a miles together over the years and she made me laugh in the middle of our fiercest storms. She will be greatly missed by all of us. Our families were so entwined in those years of raising our children together and struggling with being single mothers. She always made things seem funny and was the most wonderful friend I have ever had. So even though I will struggle with my loss, I know she is feeling glorious. Peace to our families.

Nancy Staples was a God fearing woman. She was given the task of raising 4 children on her own. She was diligent and hard working. Her children are her legacy. Each of them developing into successful, honest, good hearted, respectful people and all with a heart for the lord.Nancy also impacted every person that knew her with her kind and caring spirit. I know even now ,as those who grieve her passing the most, she is in paradise wrapped in the loving arms of God. I will never forget her kindness or the warmth of her smile. I am praying for you all as you grieve your sweet mom (and grandma’s) passing. Nancy was one of the most positive, caring persons I’ve known in this life. She persevered and loved well. I loved going over to her house for sleepovers with Sarah Joy. She worked so hard and was always smiling and grateful for life, loving and trusting Jesus. Her faith strengthened mine and so many others. I’m so sorry for your great loss and am praying for comfort and peace for you all. I’m so glad she is face to face with the Lover of her Soul and is not in pain anymore.

From Robert Sailler...

I loved how Titus would call his mom, “Coach Nancy.” She was so proud of all four of her children and all of her grandchildren. She raised an amazing family. Seems like she always had a smile on her face whenever I saw her even though there were times when pain was having its way with her. Such a good woman. Not having her around will be a huge loss for the family. Positive waves going your way. Blue skies.

From Doris Douglass...

Nancy’s friendship was from 1977 through this time! She was like a sister to me and a second mom to my kids. We shared so many things and she always had time to talk and encourage all of her family and friends. She was so much fun and loved to have people over to celebrate holidays or birthdays. We all loved going to the baseball games and other sports to watch her kids play! We studied the Bible and prayed together. She was a vital part of her church and helped in many areas there. She loved to sing and worship God with her beautiful voice. She was the best friend, Mom and MeeMaw any one could ever have. I will miss her with all my heart. I send love and prayers to all the family! 🙏

From Vicky Hensler...

Aunt Nancy you will be missed! I will miss talking to you on the phone but I know where you are now and you are no longer suffering! I remember as a little girl you would play your records for me and we would sing and dance. Later in life it was talking about our kids and grandkids and how Jesus has touched our lives in so many ways we could talk for hours! RIP I will see you when it is my time and then we can talk more! Love and miss you. My condolences to the family!
