Ellen, Ryan and Renee, your dad was my mom’s Winona’s youngest brother, it was always a special occasion when your family came down to Parker for a visit, Uncle Tony loved visiting his relatives. He had a gentleness about him and he was a Strong Christian Man. He is not gone we have memories to help us through. We will see him again when Our Father calls us Home. My Love and Prayers go out to you Ellen, Ryan and Renee and I pray for Traveling Mercies for all who will be attending the Service.

From Sylvia Polacca Dawavendewa...

Ellen, Ryun & Renae,
Uncle Tony was a brother to my dad, Starlie Polacca, Jr. and while we didn’t see him often; know my siblings and I will always have the deepest respect and love for him.
Since we learned of his health issues we have all been praying for him and the family. Also been recalling his every act of kindness he showed each of us as we grew up and reaching out to us later in life when the opportunity arose. We were always happy to spend time with him.
Uncle was very similar to my dad, both were the epitome of a kind, loving, humble and deeply spiritual Hopi-Tewa man. Both showed a quiet yet total devotion to their families. We were blessed to have these special fathers.
I take solace in knowing Uncle Tony’s prayers and faith will be rewarded as he believed. I pray you have wonderful memories to comfort you.
Know I’m there in love and spirit.
Sylvia Polacca Dawavendewa
