A Celebration of Life for John Michael ‘Johnny’ Brooks, 44, Lawrence, will be announced at a later date. Johnny passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021, at his home.
He was a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service.

I worked with John at the Lawrence main post office. John was a great co worker and a wonderful friend. He was a great rural carrier and always available when you had a question. I will miss our talks in the morning. RIP my friend. See you on the other side.

Johnny was more than a carrier with USPS. More importantly He was a father and a good friend to those who had the pleasure of calling him friend. Johnny cared about people and people cared about Johhny. He was always happy to help his friends. Johnny was loved and he will be missed deeply. This world is a little dimmer a little colder without the light and warmth you brought to it. Love you and miss you my brother.
