“Now we do not want you to be uninformed, believers, about those who are asleep [in death], so that you will not grieve [for them] as the others do who have no hope [beyond this present life]. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again [as in fact He did], even so God [in this same way—by raising them from the dead] will bring with Him those [believers] who have fallen asleep in Jesus.”

Aunt Lillian, Diane, Willie, and Charles – I’m so very sorry to learn of the passing of Uncle Gary. You all are definitely in my thoughts and prayers. Please know we love you and are willing to do anything to take a fraction of worry and grief at what has to be the most difficult time of your lives. I’m thankful for his 81 years of life and that you were able to celebrate his 81st birthday. I’m thankful for the 55 years of marriage and for the welcoming spirit we all felt when we visited Lawrence, KS. I’m grateful for the care he gave to Aunt Lillian and Bigmoma and just know he will be sorely missed.
My condolences to his family. He will be missed.
My condolences to the family.
