
Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and forever pistol Audrey Dean Cone, 80, of Wichita, KS, passed away on July 19th, 2022. Audrey was born in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, but considered both Kansas and Mississippi home. An active golfer, community member, and leader, Audrey was Women’s Club Champion of Rolling Hills Country Club in Wichita, KS in 1996, 1999, 2000 and 2003. In her time there, she also served as head of the Beautification Committee. Audrey and Mike were married for 44 years. They loved to travel and spend time with friends, and always had outlaw country music playing on the radio. As Mike says, they had “44 years of marriage and never a dull moment.”
She was predeceased by her mother Tommie Ruth Reese, father William Barnes Pemberton, and daughter Sandy Hurlbutt. She will be missed by her husband Mike Cone, brother Bill (Judy) Pemberton, sister Jean Stevens, and stepdaughter Kelly (Mike) McReynolds, along with three grandchildren – Matthew McReynolds, Megan (Trent) Reinardy, and Morgan McReynolds. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Audrey was one of kind. Such a giving person always with a smile on her face. She’ll be missed.
Arly and I shared so many happy times with Audrey and Mike. They were a special couple. My thoughts will be with Mike and family. Audrey will be missed.
