I learned of Dean’s passing today as I filled out a birthday card to mail to him. My heart is broken. I have lost an amazing friend. Dean and I became friends for over 40 years when we worked together at Falleys. He was a meat cutter and I worked in the bakery. He always knew how to make me laugh if I had a bad day. He was an honest and good man who always had a smile. He meant so much to my family and I. We never forgot each other’s birthdays and tried to meet for lunch to celebrate. I talked with Dean on July 25th to see how he and Dolores were doing and if I could help in any way. My thoughts and prayers for strength go out to all the family. Dean will be greatly missed by anyone who knew him.
