I count it a privilege to have known Don as a friend and fellow wastewater treatment colleague. Don was the wastewater superintendent for Lawrence and hosted many field trips for my students when i was teaching at KU. He was a quiet spoken but very capable plant manage and operator. I am thankful to have known him and I look forward to our reunion in heaven. Lord, comfort his family and friends who were privileged to know him.
David – please know I am keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers. Your dad was a kind man and I’m glad I had the chance to know him.
Was so sad to learn of Don’s passing!
Don was my communion partner for many years at Central UMC. Asked to be his partner after Wilma passed because this was his passion! He was an incredible man and I learned so much from him about his belief and faith in God.
Lillian, Ron and rest of his family, my heart goes out to you! May God comfort you in Don’s passing.
What a GOOD guy, he will truly be missed.
