Lynn, I was so sad to hear about Wayne, and about your tremendous loss. I’m keeping you and Scott, and the entire family, in my thoughts.
Though beyond our complete understanding, we are comforted by the strong love Wayne held for his family and friends, evidenced by the kind comments made on the Rumsey-Yost website and the ache in all of our hearts. We are also reassured of God’s promise to each of us who would trust Him for our eternal salvation that we will see Wayne again, along with others from our family long gone home. “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart…” Proverbs 3:5

I am so sorry to read about Wayne’s passing. I remember him as a student at Pinckney Grade School, and then ran into him again years later. My heart goes out to you, Lynn. I know he will be missed.
Growing up a few blocks from Wayne’s house gave me a front row seat to the Wayne Show! Though 4 years older than me, Wayne was always nice to me and my friends and he was always doing something exciting or wild. Here in the last few years, I was able to hang out with him at the 6th Street McDonald’s and am happy that I got the chance to hang out with him a little. Though I knew he had some health concerns, I had no idea that the last time I kidded around with him would be my last opportunity to do so. RIP, Mr. Walker and my condolences to your family.
My condolences to the Walker Family. God Bless you all.
