I’ve been absent for a while, but now I remember why I used to love this site. Thanks , I¦ll try and check back more often. How frequently you update your website?

From Pastor Kirk Ruchotzke...

We are so sorry for your loss, John. Dorene was a wonderful part of our church family at City Center Church in Lenexa, KS (formerly Lenexa Christian Center) for many years. Over the years she was part of our single adults ministry, our senior adults ministry, and faithful in attendance as her health permitted. Our sympathy and prayers go out to your family from Pastors Matt & Jeannie Purkey, myself and my wife, Betta, and all of our church staff. May the Lord bring you comfort and peace. We know she is with Jesus today and always!

From Barbara J Wilson...

So sorry to hear of Doreen’s passing. We worked together for many years at KU GSP. Doreen was my right hand I always knew she had things running smoothly and would be beautiful for our many special events. She was always there for me & was blessed to have her as a friend. Rest In Peace dear Doreen.

From Helen Pendleton Rumbaut...

Dorene Willis was my classmate and friend. Several years ago Facebook reconnected us. I had hoped to visit her during one of my visits to Lawrence, but it didn’t work out. She was a lovely person, a strong Christian, and cared deeply about her family and friends. I’m so sad that she is no longer with us, but glad for her as she rejoices with her Savior, Jesus Christ, in heaven. Well done, Dorene! My deepest condolences to all who are grieving. May the Lord give you His peace, which passes understanding. Philippians 4:7.
