A Celebration of Life service for Jacob Allen Englehart, 31, Lawrence, will be 5-8 pm, Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at the Carnegie Building, East Gallery, 9th and Vermont Street, Lawrence, Kansas.

So broken hearted to hear about Jakes passing. Total shock. I have so many fond memories of Jake and Andy together from daycare to adult hood. Totally loved watching them grow up together, from infants, to sports, to cub scouts and beyond. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family.

Peggy, my heart is breaking for you and your family. Sending prayers for you to have the strength to get through this.
Total shock. Jake was a great friend from childhood through into college. He will be missed.
Sending my love and prayers to the Englehart family. I am so saddened to hear of Jake’s passing. All our kids from CTK were so close at one time and it felt like one big family. Jake was such a sweet boy and we will always remember him fondly.
My heart is broken. I grew up with Jake. I never laughed more with anyone, than I did with him. He was so smart, such a kind soul, and he will be greatly missed. My prayers are with Jake’s family.
Jake was a wonderful person.. I’ve known him since elementary school. We lost touch in our adult years but I will never forgot how kind and honest he was.. you’ll be missed, Jake the Snake. Rest easy, and know you were loved.
I’m so sad to hear about Jake! He and Andy always had too much fun growing up playing soccer, basketball, and baseball together!
