William Allan “Bill” Hadl Sr. age 77 of Eudora, passed away June 26, 2024. Bill was born October 7, 1946 in Lawrence, Kansas to parents Allan E. and Viola Hadl. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and very proud of his service. Bill went on to work for the City of Eudora where he worked for many years in the Water Department as a Plant Operator and as a volunteer Firefighter.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jim Hadl and one sister, Jeanie Hadl. He is survived by his daughter, Roxene Findley and husband Chris of Princeton, Kansas; son, William A. Hadl of Ottawa, Kansas; sisters, Betty Lou Miller of Lenexa, Kansas, Marilyn Weeks of Garnett, Kansas, Nancy Higbie of Wellsville, Kansas, Lorie Hadl of Gardner, Kansas, Patty Gifford and Connie Larson of Eudora, Kansas; three grandchildren, Megan and husband Bryan Stadler, Alison and Emalane; a great-grandson, Atlas and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside Services with full military honors are set for 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 5, 2024 at the Holy Family Cemetery of Eudora. Arrangements are with Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home of Lawrence.

So sorry for your loss. Bill was another classmate of mine who is gone too soon. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
It’s been years since I’ve seen Bill but he was one of the nicest guys I’ve ever known. I often saw him around town and he would always take time to talk to me. He had a kindness about him that you don’t often encounter in life. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Bill was genuinely a great person and I’m saddened by the news of his passing.
Linda and I were very saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. Please know that we’re thinking of the family as they go through this very difficult time.

When Bill worked for the City of Eudora and I was in charge of burials at Holy Family cemetery, we always had such a nice visit. He was such a nice guy.
So sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. My condolences to his family. He was my classmate at Eudora High School. We had a lovely class reunion for the class of ’65 for our 70th birthdays. Bill won a ceramic cardinal. He was a kind and personable man.
