
Memorial Services for Tina Marie Courter, 52, Belton, MO, will be 1 pm, Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
She died September 8, 2024, at Research Medical Hospital in Kansas City, MO.
Tina Marie Courter was born to Harold and Mary at Winchester Hospital in Winchester, Kansas on September 4, 1972. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1990. She moved to Missouri in 2016. Tina unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Kansas Research Medical Hospital at the age of 52.
Tina is survived by her parents, Harold John Courter and Mary Montgomery (Skip); her children, Michaela Lathrom (Tyler) and Mathew Baise; her grandchildren, Olivia, Pypier, Journey, and Theodore; her sister, Michelle Stauffer (Brad) and her brother, Frank Courter. Also surviving are her nieces, Marquita (Autum), Shockela (Dorian), Jasmine (Shyanne) and Desiree; nephews, Remington, Hunter, and Ruger; six great-nieces and nephews, with one on the way; and many aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Geneva and Oliver Helm; paternal grandparents, Dorothy and Pleasant Courter, niece Amanda, cousin Justin, her aunt Tammy and numerous aunts and uncles.
Tina was a devoted mother and an amazing Nana. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and her boyfriend, Kieth. In her free time, she loved to crochet, and do diamond paintings and had a shopping addiction. She ran her own daycare from 2002-2011, which she absolutely loved. Tina was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and fought a hard battle until 2020. Tina was still fighting health issues up until the day she passed away.
Tina’s memory will remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those who were honored to have the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy will live on for generations to come; inspiring those around her with her kindheartedness, generosity, and unforgettable spirit. She will be truly missed.
I love you Tina, No more pain. I believe your up above watching over all of us, Rest in Peace.
