Graveside services for Nelma Lee Brumley, 87, will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Silent City Cemetery, De Soto.
She left this world on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence, Kansas, surrounded by her family.
She was born April 11, 1938, in Koshkonong, Missouri to Jesse Ivory and Lydia Ethel (Brazeal) Howell.
She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Brumley on February 6, 2022; her husband of 61 years, Jimmie Joe Brumley on January 28, 2022; and her first husband, James E. Hudspeth on August 13,1958.
She leaves behind four sons, Michael, Jay (wife Rae), Billy (wife Julie), and Rod (wife Charlie); nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Nelma was loved so much and will be missed by all.
