Kathy, I am so sorry to hear about Dennis’s is passing. We go a long ways back. I was in the same word with Dennis in grade school till they changed our boundaries and put me in the same word with you! I can only imagine the reunion with his mother! We were both so young when she died. His parents were really good friends with my parents.

Jodi,
I will be out of town, but I would have loved to be able to come to the service and learn more about this wonderful man. I truly wish I had been able to meet him, but I love hearing your stories about him!
Wrapping you and your family in my arms and sending prayers for all of you for comfort at this hard time of saying goodbye.
Love to you!
Dennis was a great friend in HS, we graduated together in 1970. I worked for his Dad doing insulation work in Sun Valley. During that time he was on his mission. We wrote letters back & forth giving each other encouragement.
We lost touch until we reconnected on FB a few years ago. We shared the latest & stayed connected. When I was planning a trip to see my daughter in Pennsylvania in June of 23 I let him know I wanted to stop by on the way. He opened his doors to us with love.
We then got to see him again on the way back. Spent a couple of days.
Such great memories we had and the talks of catching up after 55 years. I consider Dennis one of my best friends ever. My wife and I loved meeting Kathy. He knows how lucky he was to have her. They worked so great together with sports uniform business. Got to see the Gayle Sayers blanket! A real masterpiece.
He will be missed for sure by all. He now has a new address filled will pain free living and abundant Love!
So glad you were in my life!♥️♥️
Jodi-
I never had the luxury of meeting your dad personally, but with so many chats with you and listening to the memories you had with your dad and seeing the laughs and smiles you were always posting on Facebook, I think we all got to know him without him even knowing.
I wish I was there to give you a big hug right now and just be able to assist you during this time.
You and your family mean the world to me.
Love, Peace, and Comfort to you and your family during this time.
Thoughts and prayers with you and your family.
When I was in high school, Dennis hired me to help paint the interior of the Rytting’s addition. I have wonderful memories of laughing and talking with him in that and other projects over those years. He is an incredible man.
Dennis was my mission dad when I was serving my mission in Lawrence. So full of love and always made me feel seen. There was a time he gave me a blessing on my mission to help me overcome homesickness. I always loved being in their home. Dennis and Kathy took me in and loved me like their own.
My condolences. Sorry for your loss. We all cared a great deal for Dennis
