Daniel Lee Hacker

Daniel Lee Hacker, 74, of Lawrence, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

He was born January 12, 1951, in Garden City, Kansas, the son of Janice Marie (Cowan) Cooke.

Daniel owned and operated several businesses throughout his life, mainly in Hutchinson, KS, and Lawrence, KS.

Daniel is survived by Terry and Stan Ensz, sister and brother-in-law, two nephews, Jeff and Sean Ensz, niece, Stephanie Gillespie and husband John, four great nieces, three great nephews, and four great-great nephews.

Preceded in death by  Carol Hacker, wife. Janice and Bill Cooke, parents. Dr. G.L. and Marion Cowan, grandparents.

Private inurnment has taken place at Fairlawn Burial Park in Hutchinson, Kansas.
