I am so sorry to hear of Wanda’s death. I always told her and meant it… that she was my hero!!!
Wanda was my closest and dearest friend. We worked together many years. She was a great friend of the entire family. RIP Wanda
Wanda and Dale were the BEST and kindest neighbors in Hutton Farms West. They were truly the very best neighbors anyone could ask for. They brought kindness, warmth, and that steady, reassuring presence that made our little corner of the world feel like home.
Whether it was a friendly wave, a helping hand, or simply the comfort of knowing they were nearby, they made a difference in everyday ways that mattered so much. They will be deeply missed, but the goodness they shared will always remain part of all of us!
With heartfelt sympathy and love,
Mrs. Kring was a very important influence in my early childhood. I grew up in the Schwegler neighborhood and she was a den leader for my Cub Scout troop. I spent time at the Kring home and she definitely kept me in line as a grade school kid. I am so thankful that she was a part of my life.
I remember Wanda fondly from our time at District Court. She was always helpful. She had a fire in her that made her an excellent employee and a great friend. She will be missed.
Wanda was always the most helpful when I went to the Court Clerk’s office. She would always go “Bock, Bock, Bock” like a chicken. She was playing with my last name. She could always make me laugh, then help me.
Wanda Kring was one of the most enjoyable people I ever knew at the Douglas County Judicial and Law Enforcement Center, and was also quite capable in her job. May she rest in peace.
Wanda was the most fun and never failed to make me smile:) I am so grateful I got to know her and be a part of her life.
Aunt Wanda was spit and fire, and unbelievably loving! She was definitely a favorite to all of us. She was a woman who knew her own mind and wasn’t afraid to express her opinion, but would listen to the opinion of others – then disagree with flair. We love that Uncle Dale brought her into our family to shine on all of us!
