Learlean Hooks-Glover, 84, of Lawrence, Kansas, passed away at her home on Monday, April 27, 2026.
Born on May 17, 1941, in Palestine, Texas, Learlean was the daughter of Robert and Lillie Mae (Kimbrough) Bennett. Throughout her life, she was known for her strength and the relationships she built with those around her. She touched the lives of many and will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Learlean leaves behind numerous family members and friends who will cherish her memory and the lasting impact she made on their lives.
Private services were held in her honor at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
The years of our love and friendship have been made on earth. Today we share an eternity of love in Jesus Christ. Rest in Jesus my dear Sister Friend, until we’re together with Him in heaven.
