Our dear friend Medardo Cazun passed away on Tuesday, July 28th. Born in El Salvador in 1965, he was a kind, gentle, and loyal friend to so many in the Lawrence community. We relied on him for his dedication, integrity, strong work ethic, and incomparable skills—and he asked for very little in return. We will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
When I look around my home, inside and out, I think of Medardo. He was gifted knowing how to make my home look just like I needed and wanted. I will always remember him for his not only his abilities in craftmanship. but for his kindness and joy being around him.
Cuanto te aprecié, Medardo, gran amigo.
