Sharon Booher-Stevens, 79, passed away peacefully at KU Medical Center Kansas City Kansas. Sharon was surrounded by her loved ones.
Sharon was born September 23 1946 in Russellville Arkansas.
Sharon graduated from Lawrence High School in 1964. She was preceded in death by her mother and father Lillian and Art Olson. She is survived by her sisters Peggy Booher-Hooper and Donna Booher-Handel. She also had several nieces and nephews.
Sharon was the happiest on the beach. The warmth of the sun and sound of the ocean brought her a special kind of happiness.
Those who loved her will remember the moments she shared with them and she will be remembered in their hearts forever.
Services will be private, per her wishes.
Knew Sharon back in the day when I ran two bars in Lawrence and she worked for me for about a year. and she was as honest as the day is long and had a great personality. She will be missed by many that is sure. She can rest easy now as GOD will take good care of her. The world was a better place when she was here.
I worked with Sharon in the early days when we worked at Raney Drug Store. All the Davis children worked there when she was working. She was so kind and such a wonderful people person. She will be greatly missed. You’re all in my thoughts and prayers.
When someone passes it’s not the material things you remember. It’s the time you got to spend with them, going to festival, lunches, shopping, and just enjoying their company sitting around the house talking. One of the days Sharon was awake I was holding her hand i told her I loved her and she told me I love you too. I’ll always remember that moment with her and my brother Phil. She was loved by so many people who were blood or no blood. She will be in my prayers.
Grandma, where do I even begin? I’m going to miss our talks and random little trips we would take. The trip to St Louis, Florida, you coming to stay with me after Remi was born, making the trip up for boo fest and every single birthday party or holiday. You always showed up for your grandkids and proudly wore the title “Grandma”. Being left out of your obit (which I know you would have hated) will never take away the lifetime of memories I have with you. Rest in peace and give grandpa hell for me! I love you!
I have many memories of you cousins coming to Iowa in the summer, and a couple trips to Ks. Lots of fun and some trouble we never got caught doing, like sneaking out to look for boys I guess. How silly but fun and.memories made. I’m glad we got to visit last summer. You will be.missed dear Cousin.

What a beautiful woman to have lost. She fought a battle with everything she had in her. To Phil and the boys family I’m so sorry that you lost her. She was the best friend you could ever ask for. Rest in peace and I will see you at a later time. Love you lots my brother and if you need anything let me know I’ll be there always.
Sharon will be missed by so many, especially Phil, who was not mentioned. I always had a great time having out with her and Phil and at Steph’s bowling tournaments. Even while she was sick she always tried to be positive.
