David A. Roberts, age 85, passed away Friday, February 20, 2026, at his home in Lawrence, Kansas. No services will be held.
Mr. Roberts was born January 23, 1941, in De Soto, the son of Charles “Rex” and Edna Penfold Roberts. He graduated from Lawrence High School in 1959.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1969, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. After separating from military service, he later worked and retired from Lawrence Paper Company.
He met and married Linda Guenther Roberts on February 13, 1970, in Lawrence, Kansas. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include daughter, Jennifer, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; daughter Amy, of the home; and two grandsons, Evan Hulse and Caden Hulse.
Dave and I worked together at LPC for many years.
