He loved fishing – which is a love he passed on to his son. They spent many years fishing together. He loved the old shows on TV Land such as Sanford & Son, All in the Family and his favorite being The Andy Griffith show. One of his prize possessions was a Don Knotts autograph he got when he met him in person at the New Dinner Theatre in Overland Park, KS.

He was a deeply devoted family man. He cherished the moments with his family & kids and his dog, Lucy.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, please donate to the Kevin Ridgway Memorial Fund, care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home in Lawrence.
