Funeral Services for Robert Bruce Pears Sr., 91 Lawrence, will be 10 am, Saturday, September 5, 2026. Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Friday, September 4, 2026, both at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
He died August 26, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

I want you to know that I truly appreciated Bob and Danny coming to Bud’s funeral, when I am sure Bob didn’t truly feel like it, and you Danny taking taken out of your busy life to attend. Bob and your mom had a special place in my heart, and your mom is missed greatly, and I will miss your dad. I always looked forward to his calls. I wish we could have visited longer with him last time we were at the hospital, but I am glad we came. Know that our prayers are with each one of you from this time forth
