Messages & Condolences

From Dennis Hesselbarth...

Joyce, Murray, I’ve been praying for you all. Your mom was one of those “safe” people for me when I was a kid – her gentle, warm spirit and ready smile when she saw me sticks with me to this day. When I met the Lord, it wasn’t a surprise to find out she loved Jesus. And you two are chips off the ‘ole block. I am grateful for you all. Love in Him, Dennis

From Clarice Breedlove...

I remember her well from our 4-H days when we were kids and her kindness to us all. My thoughts and sympathy to all the family.

From Jennifer Bravo...

Thank you Shirley for being such a wonderful lady, a great neighbor and friend, especially to my mom, Ellyn Owen. I remember her with fondness as a warm presence at South Junior High and in the neighborhood grewing up. I send my love and condolances to all of her family and friends during this difficult time of grief.

From Doris Pratt...

So sorry to read of the loss of your mother. She was a great lady and know she will be greatly missed. Sorry I haven’t kept in better touch with her. I had known her since our folks went to CPA at Pleasant Grove. Strange how our lives were reunited. God bless all of you.

From Debra Shirar...

My mother Catherine May (Luckan) Shirar if my memory serves me correctly was in a club with your mother and she used to bring her kids to club in the summer. I thought your mother was a very warm and caring person.I remember her smile. I pray God will help you through this time and know that your mother made a lasting impression on those she met in life. Thanks for sharing a wonderful lady!
