Michelle was born on April 18, 1956 in Iowa City to Marjorie (née Cook) and Gabriele Bruccini. She earned a B.S. in Nursing from Creighton University and worked as a Registered Nurse in Omaha and Lawrence. Michelle had a passion for spiritual growth, jewelry design, and meaningful gift-giving.

A private memorial service will be held in early September.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association, St. John’s the Evangelist Catholic Church, Lawrence, and St. Lawrence Catholic Campus Center.

My thoughts are with my friend, Tom. May His presence surround you and give you peace.
Michelle was a neighbor of ours for over 20 years. Thoughts and prayers for the family.
Michelle, you were a dear friend. I’m so sorry you are gone from us too soon. Memories will simply have to do.
I will so miss the regular get togethers to share our friendship while watching sports or whatever tv series we had in common. Michelle was a very cherished friend who was always there to share her friendship, wisdom and unconditional love. There are no words that can express the loss of such a wonderful and caring friend and how much Matt and I will miss her.
Tom, Tasson and Kay, know your are in our thoughts and prayers.
and how much she will be missed.
Tom, Tasson and Kay,

Bob and I are traveling and are sorry to miss Michelle’s services. Your written memorial captures her spirit well. She was a fiercely loving friend and advocate , a warm and wise encourager and so very proud of each of you. Today we ask God to send His gentle peace and comfort and loving presence to draw near and hold you fast.
I will forever miss our every ever month talks for the past 32 years. In the 80’s it was daily. In the 90’s monthly and into the past twenty years it was every two months.
I have nothing more to say than to Thank you for our friendship and all of the wise words you sent my way.
I will miss these chats. You were a good friend and my prayers go to your family.
May Marge and Gabe be wrapping their arms around you my stubborn friend.
I love you and be in peace!
Love ya Mona
Tom, Kay, and Tasson,
