Jerry Faulkner

Memorial services for Jerry Leddell Faulkner, 76, Lawrence, will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at 360 Church in Lawrence. Inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Faulkner died Friday, April 20, 2018, surrounded by family at his home.

He was born January 12, 1942, in Columbia, South Carolina, the son of John Leddell and Doris Lee Austin Faulkner.

Mr. Faulkner served in the U. S. Air Force and was an over the road truck driver for many years. He was a member of 360 Church, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going to auctions.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon of Lawrence; children, W. J. Faulkner of Lawrence, Jerry Patz and wife Dayna of Ozawkie, KS, Theresa Sandstrom and husband Loren of Grimes, IA, and Richard D. Faulkner of South Haven, MS; brother, John Faulkner and wife Karen of Greer, SC; grandchildren, Courtney, Kyra, Amanda, Carter, Christian, William, Austin, Ty, Sabrina, Jolene; great grandchildren, Kaden, Mitch, Kyla, Blake, and Beau.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Children’s Mercy Hospital or 360 Church, sent in care of the funeral home.
