A Celebration of Life for David Marion Rainbolt, 50, Lawrence, will be held Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 1:30 at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 preceding services. David passed away February 6, 2019 at his home.
He was born October 18, 1968, in Lawrence, the son of Robert and Rosalee (Willoughby) Rainbolt. He attended McLouth and Lawrence schools, graduating from Lawrence HS in 1987.
David worked many years as a pressman at Allen Press. He was currently employed at Berry Plastics in Lawrence.
David married Kelli Hastings in 1988. They divorced in 1998.
Survivors include daughter Alexis Rose (Jesse) McAfee, Wellsville; his parents Bob & Rosalee Rainbolt, Bella Vista, AR; sister Tonya (Dave) Ketchum, Tonganoxie, sister Sonya Rainbolt, Issaquah, WA, and brother Kevin Rainbolt of Lawrence; several nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Bert Nash or Lawrence Memorial Hospital, in care of the funeral home, 601 Indiana St., Lawrence, KS, 66044

I went to school with David. He was a shy guy but a great person. May you rest in peace. Condolences to his family and friends.
