Terence Benjamin Payne”House”,”Meno”,”T-Payne”,”Daddy Knows”,”Big Teddy Bear”,37, of Lawrence , Kansas passed away on Thursday July 21,2022 ,at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Payne was born on August 7,1984 in Lawrence , Kansas, to John “Fritz” Brockman and Rhonda Sue Payne.
He went to Lawrence High School and graduated in 2003. He went to college at University Of Phoenix on August 25,2009-February 3, 2010 for Criminal Justice.
He worked at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Smuckers , Bouncer at RoadHouse , Salvation Army Corp and Worked at Three Trails Camp in Kansas City, Missouri.
He enjoys cooking out, listening to music, going to church, fishing, dancing, playing dominoes, cards, spades, deuces, chillin with family and friends , camping and Boy Scouts.
He attended church at Mustard Seed ,Heritage Baptist Church, Salvation Army,( Lawrence, Kansas) ,and Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church (Murfreesboro, Tennessee ) Pastor Jerome Overton “J.O”.
He was baptized in the name of the Lord. He leaves behind his mother Rhonda Payne(Lawrence, KS) His sisters Porscha Payne , Laticha Bennett(Murfreesboro, TN) , Jessica Freeman (Lawrence, KS) , and Tishnisa Smith(Belle Glade, Florida). HIs Brother Christopher Fulton(Lawrence, KS). Nieces Latrina Davis, Jai’Shawna Akins, Teonna Akins, and Israel Akins,(Murfreesboro, TN) Nephews Daeqwan Richardson , Amari Bennett, and Donovan Craig ( Murfreesboro ,TN), His bonus Mama Cindy Winger. A Lot of Aunties, Uncles, Cousins, Friends, Moms and Dads.
He was preceded in death by his Dad, Grandma, Great Grandma, Grandpa, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Friends and Joshua Freeman. He had a Big Heart and loves helping people and will light up the room everywhere he goes. He Loves his family and loves enjoying his life. He loves to watch Football games and call Tennessee to pick on his nieces when the Chiefs play and tell them its Red Kingdom.
He loves coming to Tennessee to spend time with his two sisters and nieces and nephews and going to church at Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
His Life is loved for his Fiancé Christina Towne and her kids and the twin Boys Terence Benjamin Payne Jr, and Joshua Wallace Payne.
Graveside services for Terence Benjamin Payne, 37, Lawrence, will be 11 am, Friday, August 5, 2022, at Oak Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be from 10-10:45 at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
Terence you were the best man I knew loved your family and we loved you very much you got your wings now rest in Heaven
May God’s Comforter be ever present for family and friends and surround you all with many happy memories.
You were a blessing to everyone who new you. God has welcomed you with open arms.
Terence was a big man with a big heart. But Jesus is big enough to hold him. Sending love and prayers to you all. I won’t be able to come, but thing of you.

My memories of Terrance are that he was always helping everyone. He always made everyone laugh. Be will be greatly missed. Thoughts and prayers .
