My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I have known Jerry since 1998, when I first met Steven. Such a welcoming and kind family. Lucky to have known him, he will be missed.
Jerry and Laura were cornerstones at First Christian Church, along with JeriJo,Mitch ,Kyle, and little Steven. The Petrie kids were the best–a testament to the kind of wonderful parents they had. My dad enjoyed working with Jerry at FMC>
My condolence goes out to Jerry’s family. Seems as though Eldon and I knew Jerry and his family for ever! I lost Eldon in January of 2022. We were married 69 1/2 years. You kids take care. Love you!
My thoughts and prayers are with the family. So sorry for your loss
I will miss our “front yard” talks Jerry. You and Joyce have been such good neighbors through the years. You will be missed.
I’m proud to say Jerry was a family friend as long as I can remember. fortunately after being hired at FMC he was my supervisor. He was good. Boy he was good. Both Jerry and my Dad were supervisors at the same time. And close friends. Jerry had a big heart. He’d bring in goodies on occasion for his shift workers. Including me. ?????? He didn’t have to do that . We were more than happy to sample Laura’s fine baking skills. First time I had Laura’s poppy seed muffins. Deeeeelish. Anyway so much more I could say. I know while at work I would have walked on coals for the man. He was that respected by us all. Jerry was a stand up guy. Possibly th last of a dying breed. My family Barb and I and my sister Vicki her husband John Miller and family want you all to know you have our prayers through this difficult time. God bless and thankyou for sharing a great man . George
I first met Gerald ib 1966 when I went to work at FMC. we worked shift work together; he was a great coworker. We hunted together for many years, I remember his bird dogs name was Pepsi. Later Gerald made supervisor and was one of the best supervisors FMC had. My condolences do the family.`
