Alice Fern Pryor, 91, Lawrence, died September 3, 2020, at LMH Health in Lawrence. No services are planned at this time.
She was born August 14, 1929, in Pueblo, Colorado, the daughter of Albert and Marguerite Drew Gennetten.
Mrs. Pryor worked as a waitress and as an artist. Her specialty was oil painting and carving.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Lawrence, and enjoyed art, cooking, playing cards, golf, and pool.
She married Tommy Pryor in 1971. He preceded her in death in 2010.
Survivors include a step son, Mark Pryor and wife Carie of Fayetteville, AR; step daughter, Liza Pryor of Scottsdale, AZ; sister, Betty Bean of Lawrence, KS; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and siblings, Ernest Gennetten, Delbert Gennetten, Ron Wood, Ed Wood, and Cleta Greer.
The family suggests memorial contributions to The Lawrence Seventh Day Adventist Church, sent in care of the funeral home.
