Ann Roberts Helm, 77, Ozawkie, Kansas, died at Lawrence Memorial Hospital on Monday, June 26, 2017.
Mrs. Helm was born July 15, 1939, in DeSoto, Kansas, the daughter of Charles Rex and Edna Penfold Roberts. She grew up in Lawrence and worked as a travel planner for Maupintour Travel Agency for many years and then as a legal secretary for the Barber, Emerson law firm. Her hobbies included camping, fishing, needlework, and gardening.
Survivors include her husband, Monroe, of the home; a son Jason Helm, Lawrence; 3 stepsons and 2 stepdaughters; a sister, Lorene Hawk of Gladstone, MO; a brother, David Roberts of Lawrence; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Helm will be cremated and inurnment will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery, in Lawrence.
Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and no services are planned.
