Mr. Pakravan died Friday, June 23, 2017, at Pioneer Ridge Nursing Center.
He was born August 11, 1955 in Tehran, Iran, the son of Akbar and Zehra Pakravan. He has lived in Lawrence since he was seventeen years old.
Mr. Pakravan earned his B.A. in business and worked in retail for many years. He worked in the photography department at Gibson’s as his first job. Most recently he dedicated twelve years as the manager of Tuesday Morning.
He was a very positive and happy person. He enjoyed music, movies, and spending time with his beloved wife and son. He loved cookies and candy and would always have them at his bedside. He loved his son, Babak more than anything else and cherished the time he had with him.
Mr. Pakravan married Mitra Seyedhashemi on January 8, 1987. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include his son, Babak, of Lawrence.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 1st, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Southside Church of Christ 1105 W. 25th St. Lawrence, KS. A remembrance meal will follow.
