A visitation for Ronda June (North) Juoni will be held at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. June 21, 2019. Ronda will be laid to rest at Colyer Cemetery. Mrs. Juoni died Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at her east Lawrence home surrounded by family. Mrs. Juoni was a hobbyist. She enjoyed collecting and researching rocks, genealogy, flower arranging and for many years, performing as a clown.
She married Ken Ford in 1963 and later divorced. She then married Donald Miller and was married to him until 1996. In 2005 she married Larry Juoni and he survives.
She worked several years in the communications industry for King Radio.
Survivors include daughter Jane Uselis of Chicago and son John Miller of St. Louis. Three grandchildren, Jessica Decker, Jennifer Decker and John Decker, all of Chicago. Five great grandchildren, Faith Kolar, Natalie Olson, Mason Kolar, Zoe Decker and Hunter Munro, all of Chicago. Other survivors include sister Glenda Channel of Edwardsville, KS, sister Patti Hatch of Warsaw, Mo. and sister Gwen VanMeer of Conway, AR, and her mother, Katherine Percifield of Warsaw, MO.
The family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Meals on Wheels of Douglas County sent in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
