Funeral services for Roy Lewis Winger, 48, McLouth, will be 10 am, Friday, April 20, 2018, at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
He died unexpectedly April 14, 2018, at his home in McLouth.
Roy was born August 13, 1969, in Lawrence, the son of Wallace Elmo Winger and Delores Jean Dunn Hubach. He graduated from McLouth High School.
He was working for Douglas County Public Works in the Maintenance Department when he died. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, grilling/cooking. He watched cooking and home improvement shows and would tell everyone how to do things right. Teasing his mom, brother, sisters and nieces and nephews was also a preferred activity.
Survivors include his parents Robert and Delores Hubach, sisters Rhonda Tingle (Edward), Millie Wheeler (Shawn), Cindy Winger; brother, Duane Warrington; many nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Wallace (Wally) Winger, grandparents Norton and Agnes Winger, Paul and Corene Dunn.
Friends may call from noon to 8 pm, Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. A visitation will take place from 6:30-7:30.
