Services for Ruby C. Morison, 87, will be at 2 p.m Tuesday April 24th at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Ms. Morison passed Thursday, April 19th, 2018 at her home in Lawrence, KS.
She was born August 4th, 1930 in Osage, AR, The daughter of Horace Zelbert and Virgie Armer.
She was a Homemaker and loved attending to her farm. Her favorite things to do were taking care of her animals and garden. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, Baking, Cooking, and Nature. She loved spending time with and doting on her grandchildren.
Survivors include her 5 children, Ruby Chapman of Lawrence, John Ruff of Eudora, Robert (Joe) Ruff of Lawrence, Elizabeth (Ann) Morrison and husband Roger of Lawrence, and Thomas Ruff and wife Nancy of Lawrence; 6 grandchildren, Tressa of Oskaloosa, Deneise of Lawrence, Randy of Eudora, Mike of Eudora, Shawn of Lawrence, and Clinton of Lawrence; 9 great grandchildren, Kelsey, Emily, Aaron, Brittany, David, Jackie, Kathy, Devin, and Carson; 2 great-great grandchildren, Emerie, and Waylon; and 1 sister, Margie Flippo of Winfield.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Friends and Family are invited for a visitation on Tuesday, April 24th, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Ruby Morison Memorial Fund, sent in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
