It is with great sadness that the family of Terri Sue Polacca announces her passing after a brief illness, on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at the age of 48 years. Terri will be lovingly remembered by her family: parents, Anthony and Ellen Polacca, sister Renae, and brother, Ryun. She leaves behind, the 3 loves of her life, her children: Judson Baker (23), Rylie Kelley (20), and Reagan Haskell (14). She also loved numerous animals through the years. Terri attended Lawrence Public Schools (Centennial, Central Junior High, and Lawrence High School). While attending Lawrence High School she participated on the girls’ gymnastics team. After years as a homemaker, she went back to continue her education. She graduated from Pinnacle Career Center with a certificate as a Personal Fitness Trainer. Terri had a love of cows, country music, laughing, and spending time with friends where they could experience her infectious laugh. She was married to Brian Baker. He survives.
A Memorial Service in memory of Terri will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 802 W 22nd Terrace, Lawrence, KS 66046, with Rev. John Gaskin officiating. Those who so desire may make memorial donations to Reagan Haskell Education Fund sent to Cornerstone Baptist Church.
