LouAnn Winchester, 58 passed February 11, 2016 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. LouAnn was born in Caldwell, Kansas on August 13, 1957, daughter of P. Francis Conrady and Lucille I. Conrady.
She married her “soul mate” Mark Kenneth Winchester June 12, 1984. These two were inseparable, unfortunately Mark preceded LouAnn in death July 15, 2003.
LouAnn graduated from Caldwell High School. Her special calling was nursing. She received her Nursing Diploma from Stormont-Vail School of Nursing on May 22, 1981 and her Kansas State Board Registered Nurse certification on September 10, 1981. Her nursing career was spent in Topeka and Lawrence, Kansas.
LouAnn became a friend to almost everyone she met and always went out of her way to help others. She had an infectious laugh that cheered up others.
Survivors include her brother Phillip Conrady of Kansas City his wife Kellie Conrady and their two sons Brandon Conrady of Kansas City and Austin Conrady of Dallas Texas. She also has many, many, cousins, relatives, and special friends.
