A Visitation for Delores Arleen Statler Parsons, 90, Lawrence, will be 6-8 pm, Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. A graveside inurnment will be 2 pm, Friday, November 25, 2022, at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Delores A Statler Parsons was born to Chester and Cora (Godfrey) Mitchell on August 28th, 1932 in Lawrence Kansas. She passed away on November 15th, 2022 in Olathe Kansas, surrounded by her family. Delores spent most of her life in Douglas county.
Delores married David Statler on July 28th, 1951 and eventually divorced. She later married Raymond Parsons on December 20, 2008.
She was preceded in death by both husbands, her parents, three sisters, one brother, her son Ervin, granddaughter Theresa Stine, and great grandson Logan Tullis.
Delores is survived by one brother, Allen (Marilyn) Mitchell, daughters Sharon (Daryl) Stine and Yvoune (Richard) Koleber, Daughter-in-law Rachel Statler, Grandchildren Heather(Chris) Mains, Candy Koleber, Jason(Rachel) Stine, Terri (James) Tullis, Sarah (Josh) Morales, Karlin Statler, Aimee Statler, 10 Great Grandchildren, 2 Step Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandson, and many Nieces and Nephews.
