A memorial visitation for Nina L. Smith, 66, Eudora, will be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
Mrs. Smith died Monday, December 13, 2010, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born August 20, 1944, in Mountain View, Mo., the daughter of Ray and Leona Lathrom Alumbaugh. She graduated from Lawrence High School.
Mrs. Smith was a buyer for Gibson’s Discount Center, and later for Sac’s. She then did bookkeeping for her son’s business, James Auto, in Eudora. She enjoyed her plants and rose bushes, and her dog Baby.
Survivors include her husband, Roy, of the home; two sons, James Smith and wife Cynthia, Eudora, and John Smith and wife Tina, McLouth; a brother, David Alumbaugh, Lawrence; two sisters, Joetta Weaver and husband Jesse, Lawrence, and Rosetta Alumbaugh-Hansen and husband Mark Hansen, Lawrence; three grandchildren, Justin, Jordan, and Crystal Smith; two step-grandchildren, Summer Wisdom and Tara Pittman; and two great grandchildren, Antonio Sanchez and Bronson Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Lloyd Alumbaugh.
