Richard Sheldon Dahl Jr., was born April 17, 1954, in Topeka, Kansas to parents Richard S. and Beatrice M. (Simmons) Dahl, Sr. He died May 21, 2012, at his home in Lawrence.
He married Susan Higham October 8, 1994. She died February 13, 1996.
He is survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2012, at Sunrise Cemetery, Manhattan, KS.
