Funeral services for Audrie O. North Hummelgaard, 107.5, Linwood, will be 10 am Thursday, December 22, 2016, at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
She died Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Audrie was born June 17, 1909, in Lone Star, KS, the daughter of John Eden and Lula H. Boles North. She attended Lawrence High School. She was the fifth of eleven children.
She worked for Hercules Incorporated and enjoyed gardening and being a homemaker.
Audrie married Clarence W. Hummelgaard in 1937. He preceded her in death in 2000.
Survivors include two daughters Barbara Blatt, Chapman, KS, Sharon Smock, Williamsburg, KS; a brother, Conrad North, St. George, UT; thirteen grand children, eighteen great grand children, eight great great grand children and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clarence, siblings Verda Molby, Tom North, Laura G. North Alley, Johnathan P. North, Mary L. North Craig, Eugene E. North, Constance L. Milleret, Dale O. North, and John Donald North.
Friends may call from noon to 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. A visitation will take place from 6-7 pm.
