Caisen Alan Hatch

Caisen Alan Hatch, 1, Lawrence, KS services will be held on Friday, October 8 at 3pm at Rumsey Yost Funeral Home  with cremation afterwards.

Caisen Hatch peacefully passed away October 1, 2021 at his home surrounded by family and friends.

He was born August 26, 2020 in Lawrence, the Son of Crystina Hatch (Gonce) and James Hatch.

Caisen is survived by both of his parents of the home, a brother Chase Derby (5) of the home. Other survivors include  grandparents Tim Gonce(Lawrence), Ernest Hatch(Topeka), Lonnie Ray(Lawrence), Kimberly Norton & Bobby Goins (Wamego, KS), Lisa Rothwell (Lawrence),  great grandma’s Margret Herzog (Lawrence) and Bonnie Rothwell (Lawrence),  Great grandpa Sidney Gonce(Lawrence). Caisen also has other survivors that include  uncles Justin Hatch(Mindy), Shaun(Wanda) McKenzie , Steven Sorenson (Dana), and Bubby Mike,  aunts Samantha Gonce, Brandy (Lester) Coble, and Amy (Lee) Doudna, and 21 cousins.

He was welcomed to Heaven with open arms by Sara Harris,  Robert Rothwell, Casey Anzek, John Herzog, Leroy Hatch, Gertie Heston.

Caisen was one of a kind boy that was always happy, loved to be with his brother and do everything with him nothing stopped the two of them from doing anything. Caisen would learn everything from his brother and he thought he had to teach his cousin (Bentlee) that he was very close with how to do it. Caisen was very intelligent and such a little racer to everything that he thought he had to beat you too.

A visitation will be from 6pm to 8 pm at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home on Thursday, October 7, 2021.

Dean LeRoy Hatch

Graveside services for Dean LeRoy “Dino” Hatch, 52, Lawrence, will be 11 am Thursday, at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 10:45 am before the graveside at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.

He died Saturday April 23, 2016, at his home.

Dino was born June 30, 1963, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of LeRoy Howard and Gertie Louise Heston Hatch. He attended Lawrence High School and later went on to be a self employed Laborer.

Dean loved playing pool with friends, working on cars, painting cars and helping people. He also liked working in yards, gardening and remodeling houses. He would do almost anything for anyone if you asked him to. He also collected trains and played the guitar.

Survivors include his mother, 2 children Tasha Hatch and Michael Hatch of Boyertown, PA, 3 Brothers Ernest Hatch and wife Kimberly Hatch of the home in Lawrence, KS, Glenn Hatch Foster of VA and Robert Hatch Smiley of CO and 3 sisters Elaine Hatch of Lawrence, KS, Deloris Hatch Riemer of Ottawa, KS and Patricia Hatch Jackson of Pomona, KS.

He is preceded in death by his father LeRoy Howard Hatch and a sister Ruby Hatch Schmidt.
