Karolynn Ann Fisher

Karolynn Ann Fisher left for her heavenly home, Sunday, January 24, 2021, at Brandon Woods at Alvamar.

Karolynn was born August 11, 1944, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Elhanan D. and Elizabeth P. Fisher.

The family moved to Kansas in 1947, eventually settling in Olathe.  Karolynn graduated from Olathe High School in 1962, attended Kansas State University, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, and earned her Master’s degree.

Her profession was medical technologist.  She worked at hospitals in Manhattan, Kansas, Sioux Falls, and Canton, South Dakota.  After serving many years at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, she retired.

Karolynn loved animals, always had cats and a dog.  She enjoyed cross stitch, sewing, quilting, reading, watching home shopping shows, antique shopping, and watching Kansas City Chiefs’ games.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, and brother-in-law, Ted Gardner.

Karolynn was loved and will be missed by her sisters Kathy Gardner (Ted), Connie Campbell (Lonnie) and her brother David Fisher (Alice).

She was loved by her many nieces and nephews and their children.

There will be a graveside memorial service at 2:30pm, Friday, July 2nd at Gardner Cemetery in Gardner, Kansas.
