Funeral services for Keyshawn Jerome Spates, 6 days, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Dr. Gary Teske officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Keyshawn died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 8, 2010, in Lawrence, the son of Cager Jerome Spates and Mandy G. Dreiling.
Survivors include his parents, Lawrence; three brothers, Demarcus Dreiling, and Christian and Cager Spates Jr.; two sisters, Alexis Dreiling, and Ashaunti Spates; maternal grandfather, Roger Dreiling; maternal grandmother, Jean Dreiling; paternal grandfather, Jesse Wilbur; and paternal grandmother Melissa Spates; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Keyshawn Spates Angel Wings Memorial Fund, in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, 601 Indiana Street, Lawrence, KS, 66044.
